Privacy policy

This policy explains what Prathamesh Cotton Mill Pvt. Ltd. (“we”), 10/119, Vikram Nagar, Shahapur Road, Ichalkaranji 416115, Dist. Kolhapur, Maharashtra, collects through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We handle your information under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

• Your account: your name, shop name, mobile number and email, and your GSTIN if you give it. Your password is stored only in a one-way scrambled form that no one can read back, not even us.
• If you sign in with Google: your name and email, and an identifier Google gives us. We never see your Google password.
• Your delivery addresses, and the contact name and phone number for each.
• Your orders: what you ordered, the prices, totals and taxes, any discount, and the invoices we issue.
• If you buy at our shop counter or through one of our agents: the details given there to make out the bill or the order.

Why we use it

• To run your account and let you sign in.
• To take, pack, dispatch and deliver your orders, and to contact you about them.
• To issue GST tax invoices and keep the records that tax law requires.
• To keep the website secure, for example by limiting repeated sign-in attempts.

Messages we send

We send emails about your account and your orders: when you sign up, when you ask to reset your password, and when an order is placed, dispatched or cancelled. They are delivered by MSG91.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information or share it for advertising. It is shared only as far as needed with the services that run this website for us, and with others where an order or the law needs it:

• Our hosting provider, whose server in India runs this website and its database.
• MSG91, to deliver emails.
• Google, if you choose to sign in with Google.
• The transport company that delivers your order: the delivery name, address and phone number.
• Tax authorities, as GST law requires.

Cookies

We use two cookies that keep you signed in. They cannot be read by other websites or by scripts on the page. We use no advertising or analytics cookies, and no tracking of any kind.

How long we keep it

• Your account and addresses, for as long as your account is open.
• Orders and invoices, for as long as GST law requires us to keep business records, even if your account is closed.
• Backup copies, for up to 30 days. The server's technical log, which records pages requested and errors but not what you look at for any other purpose, for 14 days.

Your choices

You can see and change your details and addresses in My account at any time. You can also ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to close your account and delete it, except for the order and invoice records the law requires us to keep.

Security

The website is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Passwords are stored scrambled, sign-in attempts are limited, and only the mill's staff can see buyer and order details.

If we change this policy, the new version appears on this page with its date.
